Mayweather vs. Canelo live results: Round 3

Canelo Alvarez had worked the body well in round two against Floyd Mayweather, and came out needing to do more of it in the third. Both men exchanged jabs early and Canelo started to throw the left hook more often.

Mayweather’s jab remained strong, but Canelo returned with a jab to the body and then a three punch combo. Floyd wasn’t deterred as he returned some stiff jabs, wanting to just work that punch until Canelo stopped him. Mayweather also landed a nice combination which caused Canelo to shake his head and jaw at Floyd.

A hard left by Canelo and some more jabs started to land.

All rounds in the fight have been very close.
