Promising starts. For the Tennessee Titans, it was a nice opening-week win over the Kansas City Chiefs before losing five of six to fall to 2-5. For the Houston Texans, it was a hot 3-1 start that has given way to three straight losses and a 3-4 record. Both teams are struggling and will look for a Sunday win to get moving in the right direction.
Fantasy football advice, Week 8: Who to start/sit for Texans vs. Titans
Sunday’s AFC South matchup features two teams who ... aren’t doing well.

The Texans' top two offensive stars -- running back Arian Foster and wide receiver Andre Johnson -- were both listed on the team's injury report this week, though neither is expected to miss Sunday. For Tennessee, running back Shonn Greene is expected to return from injury, though he's way off the fantasy radar.
The AFC South matchup will be played in Tennessee at 1 p.m. ET Sunday. Here’s a look at the fantasy intrigue:
TEXANS
Start 'em: In six games played, Arian Foster has at least five points in every game, at least nine five times, at least 15 four times, at least 20 three times. He's super-elite. ... Even as he deals with injury, Andre Johnson is a fine WR2, though you'd like to see more scores for the veteran. ... The Texans' defense should be getting Jadeveon Clowney back Sunday, which makes it an attractive unit against a new starting quarterback.
Start 'em?: Early in the season, DeAndre Hopkins looked like a nice fantasy play, but his usage has fallen off a lot lately. ... Randy Bullock has three double-digit fantasy days, which is a nice total for a kicker.
Sit 'em: He put up 17 points Monday night, but overall, Ryan Fitzpatrick has been less than great with Houston, averaging barely 12 fantasy points a game. ... The Houston tight-end group -- Garrett Graham, Ryan Griffin, C.J. Fiedorowicz -- has done basically nothing this season.
TITANS
Start 'em?: Eventually, Bishop Sankey is going to have a good game. I think. But he's just a low-end flex play. ... Since his great start to the season, Delanie Walker has fallen off a lot, with 10 total fantasy points his last three games. ... The Titans' defense is very up and down, but against Fitzpatrick it could be a good week.
Sit 'em: In defense of Zach Mettenberger, neither Jake Locker or Charlie Whitehurst would be fantasy starters either, but going to a rookie sixth-rounder does not inspire. ... How can you trust any of the Tennessee wide receivers? Both Kendall Wright and Justin Hunter are woefully inconsistent, and now they have a worse thrower giving them the ball. ... Ryan Succop doesn't do enough in the kicking game to be used in fantasy.
