A few weeks ago, Jon Bois examined the sadness that is the Florida NFL teams. In the last month, not much has changed in the state. Sunday features the season's first matchup of two Florida teams, and while the Miami Dolphins are clearly a few notches ahead of the Jacksonville Jaguars, the state is still looking for its first winning team.
Fantasy football advice, Week 8: Who to start/sit for Dolphins vs. Jaguars
Aww, Florida. They try so hard at football.

Miami tight end Charles Clay was limited in practice through the week with a knee injury, though he is expected to be fine for Sunday. The Jaguars, meanwhile, have been without running back Toby Gerhart for a few weeks, and while he's back and practicing, he appears to have lost his gig with the team.
The Jaguars will host Sunday’s game at 1 p.m. ET, looking for their second straight win after starting 0-6. Here’s a look at the fantasy names to consider:
DOLPHINS
Start 'em: The absence of Knowshon Moreno means Lamar Miller would be a starter no matter the matchup; playing Jacksonville can only help. ... Mike Wallace has put up between eight and 12 fantasy points every game this season; he's a must-start receiver, even if he doesn't have super-elite upside. ... Defenses like playing Jacksonville. The Dolphins' defense plays Jacksonville.
Start 'em?: With the exception of the Cleveland Browns last week, offenses do really well against the Jaguars. That means Ryan Tannehill becomes a high-end QB2 this week. ... Caleb Sturgis is a nice fantasy option in a good matchup; he has at least seven fantasy points five times in six games.
Sit 'em: The team has been looking toward Jarvis Landry a bit more of late. He's still not a starter, but his long-range value is at least worth monitoring. ... Charles Clay had been terrible this season before finally having a good game Sunday; let's see another before he re-enters the fantasy landscape.
JAGUARS
Start 'em?: The first successful Jaguar running back this year presents an interesting situation. Denard Robinson had a really good game Sunday, and even though the team's offensive line hasn't exactly become great, Robinson has the gig, and is eligible at wide receiver in some leagues. A starting running back at wide receiver is an enticing proposition. ... Cecil Shorts and Allen Robinson are the most interesting Jacksonville receivers, and while neither is all that close to starting territory, both at least could have big games.
Sit 'em: It's been rough sledding for Blake Bortles in recent weeks, with a lot of turnovers. He remains a long-term option, not a present one. ... Marqise Lee and Allen Hurns are the next tier of Jacksonville receiver. They are stay-aways. ... Clay Harbor is getting targets at tight end, but they haven't translated to production outside of Week 6. ... Josh Scobee hasn't gotten a lot of kicking value so far. ... The Jaguars' defense had a big Week 7, and has improved of late, but it's still not to the point where fantasy owners can use the unit.
