Well, Sunday ended in an interesting fashion. Jonas Gray was the man of the day with 199 yards and four scores in what was probably the most benched explosion of the season. The New England Patriots have been looking for a Stevan Ridley replacement and they even changed their offense a bit with Gray cruising.

He wasn’t the only guy who is interesting and there could be a number of backs on the upswing, as well. If you have some FAAB to spend or you’ve been waiting for a reason to use your No. 1 waiver wire priority, Gray is your guy. Here are five others to pick up this week:
Jonas Gray (owned in 20 percent of leagues) - Add him, but you might not want to start him in an awful matchup against the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
Tre Mason (owned in 50 percent of leagues) - While Mason hasn't done much with his featured load, it hasn't hurt his allotment of carries as time has gone by. He carried the ball a whopping 29 times for 113 yards on Sunday against a very good Denver Broncos defense. He's had some horrible matchups against the Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, Kansas City Chiefs and Seattle Seahawks. Now, he gets some awesome matchups against the San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders in the next two weeks. He needs to be owned everywhere and you'll want to start him this week.
Isaiah Crowell (owned in 22 percent of leagues) - What are the Browns doing? In the past month, they've started three different backs and none of those decisions appear to be based on injuries. Well, now it's Crowell's turn. He rushed a team-high 14 times for 61 yards. He even had a fumble on Sunday and the Browns stuck with him. He looks like the guy now. While he is a nice pickup, he's going to be very risky to use until he has a couple good games under his belt. However, he gets a great matchup against the Atlanta Falcons and receiver Josh Gordon is back too. He's a low-end RB2 this week.
Latavius Murray (owned in 1 percent of leagues) - Yes, it's the Oakland Raiders and they're likely going to be 0-16, but someone has to run the ball for them. Murray played 27 of the final 30 snaps of Sunday's game and he's likely going to be more involved as the season goes along. He had 59 yards on seven touches on Sunday and he could be a double-digit touch guy next week. This week is a bad matchup against the Chiefs anyway, so he's more of a stash.
Daniel Herron (owned in 1 percent of leagues) - Ahmad Bradshaw went down with a broken ankle, so Herron will back up Trent Richardson who has been a disaster since the Colts, so don't be surprised to see Herron leapfrog him. He's a stash guy.
