The Packers made it look easy against the Bears on Sunday Night Football. Fortunately for fans, Sunday’s earlier games were packed with thrills, including a last-minute Lions win, the Jets upsetting the Steelers and more.
Everyone stunk at offense in Week 10

Andrew Weber-USA TODAY Sports(Not sure what the Spike Factor measures? Read the full explanation.)
And it all added up to the worst league-wide Spike Factor week this year, with close to 36 percent of all offensive plays gaining no positive yardage. There’s a lot of bad offense out there, so just keep your head down and try to stay safe until the playoffs.

Steven Bisig-USA TODAY SportsAfter the game, Beckham sought out Sherman at midfield. Rather than receiving a mere handshake, the receiver ended up with his opponent’s jersey and his respect.
Praise from an NFL veteran is music to a rookie’s ears. That goes doubly when coming from a player of Sherman’s caliber, who is one of multiple Seahawks to send compliments to the Giants’ first round pick.

Greg M. Cooper-USA TODAY Sports“We’re not a good football team right now,” he said during his postgame press conference. “We’ve descended over the last three weeks and we didn’t make any changes or positive movement after the bye. That starts with me.”
“To play like that, it’s embarrassing,” Cutler, who has thrown four picks in his last three games, told the Chicago Sun-Times.

Jonathan DanielThose dreams died quickly, as Chicago allowed the Packers to score 42 unanswered points in the first half of Green Bay’s way to an 55-14 win. This game was an unadulterated beatdown -- the second-worst halftime deficit in NFL history, and it didn’t get better from there as the Packers scored the most points against the Bears since 1962. Here’s what we learned:
2.) The Bears could not possibly be worse.

Steve Flynn-USA TODAY SportsThe problem was that earlier in the week Garrett told reporters that the team had imposed a curfew on the players, according to Clarence Hill of the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram. The coach wasn’t answering follow-up questions on the curfew issue after Sunday’s game.
Dez Bryant did offer a little more insight into the issue. He told the press after the Cowboys’ 31-17 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars that he was with a group of players who had been out late that night, adding that it obviously didn’t impact their performance in the game.

Chris GraythenGraham made contact with 49ers cornerback Perrish Cox on a catch that would have won the game. It’s unclear if the tight end pushed him enough to result in the flailing collapse we saw on Sunday, though officials threw the flag for him pushing off. The Saints player saw things very differently.
Going a step further, Graham compared the call to his time playing his second sport at the University of Miami.

Steven Bisig-USA TODAY SportsSeattle leaned heavily on its rushing attack this week, after facing some criticism for getting away from it earlier this season. Marshawn Lynch went full Beast Mode, rushing for 140 yards on 21 carries, and scoring four times. Russell Wilson added another 107 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown of his own with the Giants defense thoroughly confused by their ground game.
The Giants’ struggles were compounded by a pair of turnovers from Eli Manning. He fumbled the ball once and threw an interception. Seattle was able to turn Manning’s fourth-quarter pick into a touchdown, which gave them a lead they would not surrender.

Derek Carr was in trouble, so he threw the ball to the first person he saw. That person was 320-pound offensive lineman Khalif Barnes, who is not allowed to catch the ball. It would have been best if he didn’t:
If Barnes just let the ball hit the ground, it would’ve been an incompletion and the Raiders could’ve lived to fight another day. Instead, he caught it, which automatically turned into an illegal touching penalty. And then, instead of just going to the ground with the ball, he tried to run with it ... and fumbled. And the Broncos hopped on it.

Trailing by four in the fourth quarter, New Orleans went to work on a 12-play, 80-yard drive to take the lead. On third-and-goal, Brees hooked up with Graham for a 2-yard touchdown to pull ahead.
