Rosa Khutor Extreme Park hosted the finals of the Women’s Ski Halfpipe on Thursday, and it was a good day for Team USA. With four competitors, there was a good chance an American would make the podium, and the color was gold for Maddie Bowman.

Bowman got off to a strong start by leading the women after a first run of 85.80. Things didn’t go quite so well for her teammates, who were in seventh, ninth and 10th place, respectively. It became clear that all of USA’s representatives would need to go big to close out the round, Bowman to hold off stiff competition and the rest of the women to get back in the competition.

Things didn’t improve for Annalisa Drew or Angeli Vanlaanen: Each fell on back-to-back runs to finish in the lower third of the competition. Brita Sigourney completed a solid run, but it wasn’t enough to reach the podium. It was a disappointing end to the Olympics for three-quarters of Team USA, but hopes stayed alive with Bowman having one last run.

She took to the to slopes for her second run not knowing if it would hold. There was no room for passivity with two talented competitors at the top, and she went huge on two 900s, and added a switch 720 that reset the high score at 89.00.

Full results from the event are available here. These are your top five finishers:
