2014 Olympics: Event schedule for Sunday

Eight medal events headline the Sunday schedule.

Sunday is a big day in the 2014 Winter Olympics. Eight medal events are on the schedule in skiing, biathlon, luge, ski jumping and speed skating. The day also sees the continuation of women’s ice hockey, which features two qualification games. Figure skating picks up with the team finale, while the new slopestyle event reaches its climax with the women’s final round.

Here’s the complete schedule of all the Sunday events. As always, times are listed in ET. Medal events are marked with an asterisk and italics.

Snowboard
1:30 a.m. ET: Ladies Slopestyle, Semifinals
4:15 a.m.: Ladies’ Slopestyle, Finals*

Alpine Skiing
2 a.m.: Men’s Downhill*

Women’s Ice Hockey
3 a.m.: Sweden vs Japan
8 a.m.: Russia vs Germany

Cross Country Skiing
5 a.m.: Men’s Skiathlon, 15km Classic + 15km Free*

Speed Skating
6:30 a.m.: Ladies’ 3000m*

Luge
9:30 a.m.: Men’s Singles, Run 3
11:40 a.m.: Men’s Singles, Run 4*

  • Two runs took place on Saturday. Medals are awarded based on best total time of all four runs.

Biathlon
9:30 a.m.: Women’s 7.5km Sprint*

Figure Skating
10 am: Team, Men Free Skating
11:05 am: Team, Ladies Free Skating
12:10 pm: Team, Ice Dance Free Dance*

  • The team figure skating medals will be awarded following the free dance.

Ski Jumping
12:30 p.m.: Men’s Normal Hill, Individual 1st Round
1:30 p.m.: Men’s Normal Hill, Individual Final Round*
