Los Angeles Clippers website makes powerful statement on Donald Sterling’s suspension

This is the photo that greets anyone that tries to access the Clippers’ website immediately after Donald Sterling’s lifetime ban.

Donald Sterling has been banned “for life” from the NBA by commissioner Adam Silver, the harshest punishment that could have resulted from Sterling’s racist comments captured by TMZ. He will also be fined $2.5 million, and the NBA will push to use a bylaw that allows the Board of Governors to force the sale of the team.

No statement, however, was more powerful than the one above. It currently greets you when you go to the Los Angeles Clippers’ website. It’s also present on individual pages within the website as follows.

It’ll be interesting to see what the players do before Tuesday’s Game 5 against the Warriors.
