A ton of money will be poured into the Kentucky Derby this afternoon. The race is one of the biggest sporting events, and gambling events, of the year. Right now, most of that money is going to California Chrome. The horse, trained by Art Sherman and mounted by Victor Espinoza, is the favorite with 3-1 odds, according to the Derby's website.

Californa Chrome, Danza and Wicked Strong are the early favorites.
After California Chrome is Danza, trained by Todd Pletcher and mounted by Joe Bravo, and Wicked Strong, trained by Michael Maker and mounted by Joel Rosario, both currently locked in at 8-1 odds.
