Unless Venezuela can continue to dominate the way they did against Canada on Saturday, the likely winner of 2014’s Little League World Series will come from this group of eight teams playing on Sunday.
Little League World Series 2014 schedule for Sunday
International superpowers and dominant U.S. teams headline battles on both side of the bracket between eight of the best squads at the 2014 Little League World Series.

Here is the schedule for Sunday afternoon and evening, featuring two games on ESPN2, one game each on ABC and ESPN, and all games available online via Watch ESPN:
- South Korea 8, Puerto Rico 5Volunteer StadiumChicago, Ill. vs. Las Vegas, Nev; 2 p.m.Lamade StadiumABC
- Mexico vs. Japan; 5 p.m. Volunteer StadiumESPN
- Philadelphia, Penn. vs. Pearland, Texas; 7 p.m.Lamade StadiumESPN2
Just two days after dominant pitching performances, Japan is hoping they can score more runs then they did in their 1-0 win against Venezuela and Philadelphia will attempt to keep Texas’s offense in check, at least better than Rhode Island did on Friday. South Korea will have to face the 6’4” Justin Figueroa and his less giant but equally talented teammates who scored 16 runs against Australia, a team that beat the Czech Republic by nine runs on Saturday. And it may be first to 12 runs between Las Vegas and Chicago, as both teams scored a dozen and won by 10 in their respective first-round games.
