Adrian Peterson rumbles for a 48-yard touchdown

The Broncos have arguably had the best overall defense in the NFL this season, and it's not just their elite secondary and top tier pass rush. Denver came into this weekend giving up a paltry 3.5 yards per carry and 83 yards on the ground per game -- but when you make a mistake against Adrian Peterson, he's going to make you pay for it.

Peterson found some daylight up the middle on a really well-blocked 4th and 1 short-yardage run with 10:01 remaining in the fourth quarter, then easily beat the Broncos’ last line of defense on his way to pay-dirt.

Not sure what the Broncos were doing on this play giving up so much of the middle, but this jail-break by Peterson snapped an offensive lull for the Vikings and pulled them back to within three, 20-17.
