UFC 193 fight card: List of tonight’s fighters for Rousey vs. Holm

The countdown to UFC 193: “Rousey vs. Holm” is almost complete.

In just a few short hours, the mixed martial arts (MMA) action will begin inside Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia, featuring the incredibly popular women’s Bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey, defending her 135-pound belt against former professional boxing standout, Holly Holm.

The Rousey vs. Holm main event is scheduled for five, five-minute rounds. However, Rousey has never been to a decision in her 12-fight MMA career. In fact, only one female, Miesha Tate, has ever made it out of the first frame against “Rowdy.” Indeed, the odds are stacked against Holm, who will look to keep her cool -- like she did during the weigh-in scuffle on Friday -- and extend the match as long as possible.

Easier said than done.

The pay-per-view (PPV) co-main event is another championship showdown between Polish power-punching sensation, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, putting her women’s Strawweight crown on the line against No. 8-ranked contender, Valerie Letourneau. Jedrzejczyk has looked nothing short of spectacular -- and terrifying -- since her brutal reign began earlier this year, which is seriously bad news for her 32-year-old Canadian challenger.

That’s not all.

In addition to the five-fight PPV main card there is also a eight-fight “Prelims” undercard that will be split between UFC’s online digital network, “Fight Pass,” and its television broadcasting partner, FOX Sports 1.
