Kaelin Clay is really, really fast. He was drafted in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL Draft because of that trait, and despite the fact that he wasn’t a particularly accomplished pass catcher out of Utah.
Kaelin Clay introduced himself to the world with an awesome punt return for a touchdown
Meet Kaelin Clay, the ridiculously fast return specialist who lit up the Browns with an 82-yard punt return touchdown on Monday night.
Not that it matters. Clay used his ridiculous speed to electrify what was expected to be an otherwise ugly Monday night bout between the Browns and the Ravens.
The score was Clay’s first of his career. He once dropped a sure touchdown before the goal line and had it returned 100 yards for a touchdown by Oregon. Here’s hoping Clay keeps doing other ridiculous (though hopefully mostly positive) things on special teams for a long time.
