Compared to quarterbacks and running backs, receivers are actually pretty healthy heading into this week. Besides San Diego Chargers receiver Keenan Allen, Baltimore Ravens receiver Steve Smith, and New England Patriots receiver Julian Edelman, that's pretty much it for injured big-name receivers.
Fantasy football waiver wire: 5 wide receivers to target for Week 15
Tyler Lockett has been awesome. Here are some fantasy receiver pickups for Week 15.
That means the waiver wire probably won’t be on fire this week for receivers. Meanwhile, there are a ton of hot pickups for backs, so none of the following guys should be your top target unless you really need help at WR.
Tyler Lockett, Seattle Seahawks (owned in 37 percent of leagues)
He has been rolling and had a monster Week 14, catching six passes for 104 yards and two scores. Lockett will get more looks in the slot now that Jimmy Graham is out for the year. Plus, they don't have Thomas Rawls in the backfield, so they may be a pass-first team.
They will take on the Joe Haden-less Browns, so there should be a ton of yards to go around. Lockett is a WR2 this week.
Willie Snead, New Orleans Saints (owned in 46 percent of leagues)
He got hot on Sunday with 122 yards and seven catches. Brandin Cooks did not look right from his concussion. He saw eight targets and was on the field for most of the game.
Snead gets a good matchup against the Detroit Lions on Sunday for Week 15, so he might be a low-end WR2 for that game. Clearly, the Saints will be looking to pass more with Mark Ingram out right now.
DeVante Parker, Miami Dolphins (owned in 44 percent of leagues)
Rishard Matthews is not close to returning, so it'll be Parker sticking in the starting lineup. He barely saw playing time earlier this year due to injury and he didn't have any targets back on Nov. 22. He gets a so-so matchup against the San Diego Chargers, who tend to be tough for WR1s and better for WR2. He gets a great matchup in Week 16 against the Colts.
Ted Ginn, Carolina Panthers (owned in 40 percent of leagues)
He had a case of the drops for most of the season, but he’s really flourished lately. In Week 14, he caught two passes for 120 yards and two scores. He was only targeted three times, so needless to say he maximized his chances.
Ginn also had another two-TD game in Week 13, so he's as hot as anyone. Still, those low targets make him a very risky player to use against the New York Giants in Week 15.
Dorial Green-Beckham, Tennessee Titans (owned in 26 percent of leagues)
Kendall Wright is probably going to be out again this week, so DGB will likely get plenty of snaps going forward. He wasn't great against the New York Jets last week with just three catches for 53 yards. He's still not someone to trust this week against the New England Patriots, but he might be worth using in Week 16 against the Houston Texans. That's assuming he is productive this week.
