Fantasy football owners in PPR leagues know all too well that it is not always about having a player who puts up absurd fantasy numbers, but it’s about having that player peak at the right time. Week 16 is as right a time as ever, as most fantasy leagues will determine who hoists the trophy after Monday night.
Fantasy football rankings, Week 16: Consensus wide receivers for PPR leagues
The SB Nation fantasy staff rounds up the rankings for the top 50 wide receivers in PPR leagues.
Odell Beckham, Jr. is one of those players who continues to produce at an elite level, but his availability for Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings is not yet known. Rueben Randle, Dwayne Harris and Will Tye would be in line for an uptick in targets, but zero of them would console Beckham's owners, who could miss out on being able to start an elite fantasy commodity.
Antonio Brown, DeAndre Hopkins and Allen Robinson top the rankings with Beckham currently sidelined, although if he wins his appeal, it would certainly alter the high end of the PPR rankings. Only Brown has averaged more fantasy points per game since Week 13 than Beckham, and backup plans have to be explored.
