American Pharoah remains the favorite to win the 2015 Kentucky Derby on Saturday, but some notable longshots have moved up the list for the Run for the Roses at Churchill Downs.
Kentucky Derby odds 2015: Mubtaahij, Ocho Ocho Ocho make their move
Mubtaahij is now at 12/1 odds to win the 2015 Kentucky Derby, while Ocho Ocho Ocho is at 25/1 odds, up from 50/1. American Pharoah remains the favorite at 13/5 odds.
American Pharoah is at 13/5 odds to win the race entering Saturday, per Odds Shark, slightly different than the 5/2 odds the horse was getting on Friday morning. Dortmund is next at 15/4 odds to win, followed by Carpe Diem at 8/1.
Making a noticeable move was Mubtaahij, now at 12/1 odds, the same as Firing Line. Mubtaahij, ridden by Christophe Soumillon, was at 20/1 odds on Friday morning.
The other big mover was Ocho Ocho Ocho, who beat fellow Kentucky Derby horses Far Right and Mr. Z in the Delta Downs Jackpot in November in Louisiana, now has 25/1 odds to win on Saturday, a vast improvement from 50/1 on Friday morning. Ocho Ocho Ocho starts in first position.
Coverage of the 141st running of the Kentucky Derby begins at 4 p.m. ET Saturday on NBC, with post time expected at approximately 6:25 p.m.
