Zac Stacy traded to Jets for 7th-round pick during 2015 NFL Draft
Zac Stacy was seemingly disgruntled after the Rams selected Todd Gurley in the first round of the NFL Draft on Thursday.

Zac Stacy has been traded to the New York Jets for the No. 224 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Stacy tweeted his displeasure after the St. Louis Rams selected running back Todd Gurley during the first round Thursday.
Stacy sent a one-word tweet simply saying “yikes” after the Rams took Gurley, who was considered perhaps the best running back coming out of college along with Wisconsin’s Melvin Gordon. Afterwards, he reportedly requested a trade from St. Louis.
Stacy is entering his third year in the NFL. He has been productive at times for the Rams after being made a fifth-round pick in 2013. However, he gained just 293 yards on the ground last season after gaining 973 as a rookie. In both seasons, Stacy averaged a relatively paltry 3.9 yards per carry.
Though Gurley is coming off a torn ACL, his talent is obvious. He has the size and speed to potentially be difference maker at the next level. Stacy may have seen the writing on the wall.
