After a solid if unspectacular opening round that went Floyd Mayweather’s way, round two is underway and starting much the same as the first went. Mayweather continuing to paw with his left hand, waiting to bait Berto into getting more aggressive. Berto not really a volume puncher who takes big risks unless his opponent hurts him, though, and this might mean a real lack of action.
Floyd Mayweather vs. Berto 2015 live results: Mayweather in control
Floyd Mayweather and Andre Berto roll on through the second round.

First half of this round is very slow, which completely favors Floyd Mayweather. Andre Berto’s only chance is to bully and overpower Mayweather, but he’s just not doing it at all, and that’s not what he does, so it’s not that surprising. Berto is having a lot of trouble doing anything effectively. He’s poking a couple jabs out, and starting to land a little to the chest. Mayweather wraps him up when Berto starts to move forward after the jab, the usual Mayweather disruption.
30 seconds left in the round, and Mayweather still working at a leisurely pace. Berto looks more active, but mostly because he’s bouncing around a lot. Berto badly misses a right hand after a feint. Mayweather slipped that with no trouble, then landed a couple potshots. Mayweather controlling with the jab thus far, finding Berto easy to combat.
SB Nation scorecard: Mayweather 10-9, 20-18
