For reference, Showtime’s Steve Farhood has it 6-0 for Floyd Mayweather, as well, just like me, and everyone else on Earth, most likely, except maybe for an Andre Berto blood relative who might have given him Round 5, or someone who is upset that Mayweather is “running.”
Floyd Mayweather vs. Andre Berto live results: Berto has first real moments, but Mayweather in control
Andre Berto came to life a little bit in Round 7, but Floyd Mayweather remains in control of the fight.

So, yes, we’re already getting to the point of a Floyd Mayweather fight where your mind begins to stray, to think about the bigger picture of this fight. It happens in almost every Mayweather fight. There comes a point where it’s clear that there’s no hope for the other guy. With this one, it was never expected to be competitive. And it’s living “up” to that hype.
Mayweather staying on the ropes, Berto throwing a bit and lands a few here and there, even. Mayweather kind of taking this round off. Thirty seconds left and a couple good shots could give either guy the round. Mayweather to the body a little. Then a hook from Berto that seems to shake Mayweather just a hair. Jab from Floyd after he gets some distance. Mayweather still won this round, but at least Berto did something.
SB Nation scorecard: Mayweather 10-9, 70-63
