Things got a little ... weird in the OPL on Tuesday. Rusty and Atlus opened their day of casting with a puppet show during the pick/ ban stage of Avant Garde vs. Legacy.
The puppet show was a product of celebrating Australia Day, a patriotic but problematic holiday honoring when the British first discovered Australia, which also means it’s a very offensive day for Aboriginal communities. We can love the puppets without loving the day, so we’ll do that.
