Division II Wingate just challenged Michigan for the best one-handed INT of the year

Defensive backs making one-handed interceptions is a thing, apparently.

We’ve had a pair of really good one-handed interceptions today. First, there was this beauty from Michigan’s Jourdan Lewis against Wisconsin Saturday, and then we had this spectacular one from a Wingate defensive back. Wingate defender Moryah Johnson intercepted Limestone College’s quarterback with this phenomenal one-handed grab.

That OBJ reference is pretty on-point, so we tip our cap to whoever runs Wingate’s football Twitter account. Wingate University, which is a Division II school, is located in Wingate, N.C. The Bulldogs beat Limestone College 45-26 on Saturday afternoon.
