Usually a player who has just 11 total targets so far in the 2016 season would not be worth any fantasy consideration, but Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Kamar Aiken has the potential for a decent day this weekend. When the Ravens take the field against the New York Giants, they will be without one of their top pass catchers in Steve Smith, Sr. due to an ankle injury.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 6: Time for Kamar Aiken to step up?
Baltimore’s wide receiver should see some more time on the field this Sunday. We explore the fantasy implications.

Since Smith spends most of his time lined up as the team’s slot receiver, it is assumed that Aiken will be called upon as Smith’s replacement in this role on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: Through five weeks this season, Smith was seeing around eight targets per game. With the receiver out, Aiken will likely get a significant number of opportunities to make plays on Sunday.
Yahoo! is only projecting Aiken to finish with three catches for 37 yards on Sunday. But with Smith out, fantasy owners in larger leagues should at least consider Aiken for the flex spot in their lineup this weekend.
