Fantasy Impact: He has already scored two touchdowns this season, but he may struggle to find the end zone this Monday against the Minnesota Vikings.
The Vikings’ defense has been impressive in 2016 and are giving up the fourth-least amount of fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Minnesota has only allowed one receiver to catch a touchdown on them this season (Jordy Nelson) and no opposing pass catcher has gained more than 76 yards.
Yahoo! projects Shepard to still catch four passes for 60 yards against the Vikings on Monday, but no touchdowns. Fantasy owners may want to think about leaving Shepard on their bench this week if they have other formidable receiving options on their roster.
