It was not the performance that some fantasy owners were hoping for if they had him starting in their lineups last week. But in Week 4, Gronkowski will face off with a Buffalo Bills team that he has performed well against during his career.
Fantasy Impact: New England’s tight end has been recovering from a hamstring injury that kept him out of the team’s first two games of 2016, but he has been participating in every practice this week leading up to the Bills game on Sunday.
Buffalo’s defense has played well against opposing tight ends this season, allowing the second least amount of fantasy points to the position group. But the Bills have not matched up with a tight end who has the size and abilities that Gronkowski possesses.
Yahoo! projects the Patriots’ tight end to finish with just four catches for 54 yards this Sunday, nothing too amazing. But for a player like Gronkowski who has 10 touchdowns in nine career games against Buffalo, there is no reason for fantasy owners to not have the tight end in their lineup this week.
