Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 7: Brian Hoyer a tempting play vs. depleted Packers
Taking a look at Brian Hoyer’s fantasy potential in Week 7 when the Bears face the Packers.

The Chicago Bears have been relying heavily on the arm of Brian Hoyer this season, and that should continue in Week 7 vs. a depleted Green Bay Packers defense.
Green Bay will likely be without starting corners Damarious Randall (groin) and Quinten Rollins (groin) Thursday night. They also just placed starting corner Sam Shields on I.R. Tuesday due to concussions. Backup safety Chris Banjo (hamstring) may also miss this game.
That means we should expect an aerial assault from Hoyer and the Bears’ offense this week, which makes him a tempting fantasy play. He is still available in a lot of fantasy leagues, and he would be a great option to start if your main quarterback is injured or on a bye week.
Fantasy Impact: Yahoo! ranks Hoyer as the 18th-best quarterback in Week 7. He is facing a Packers defense allowing the 11th-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season, but that was before the onslaught of injuries in the secondary.
This is going to be a tough call to make if you have a guy like Tom Brady, Matt Ryan, or Andrew Luck on your roster. Unless your main quarterback is injured or on a bye, sit Hoyer this week.
