Out of action for the past two weeks with a toe injury, Oakland Raiders running back Latavius Murray is expected to be back on the field during the team’s game this Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to ESPN’s Adam Caplan.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 7: Beware of Latavius Murray
Oakland’s running back is expected to be back on the field this week after missing some time due to an injury. We explore the fantasy implications.

How much he will be involved in the team’s offensive game plan this week remains to be seen. Murray could see a reduction in his touches this Sunday not only because he is coming off an injury, but also because of how well the team’s backups have played in his absence.
Fantasy Impact: In his first game in three weeks, Murray will be matching up with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Not known for their stout defense in recent years, the Jaguars are actually giving up the 10th fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs this season.
The position group is only averaging 3.8 yards per carry against Jacksonville in 2016, and their defense has only allowed one running back to rush for more than 100 yards during a game this year.
Yahoo! thinks Murray will only finish with 49 total yards on 12 touches against the Jaguars. It may be best for fantasy owners to stay away from any of Oakland’s running backs this week until each player’s role with the team begins to remain consistent.
