The way he is playing this year, Rudolph should be able to easily set new career highs in catches and receiving yards during a single season by the end of 2016.
Fantasy Impact: If the Vikings’ tight end wants to catch another touchdown this week, he will have to do it against a Texans’ defense that has virtually shut down his position group this season.
Houston is giving up the second-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends and they have yet to allow one to gain more than 35 receiving yards in a game this season. Rudolph has only one game in 2016 where he gained less than 55 receiving yards — could this be his second?
Yahoo! is projecting Minnesota’s tight end to catch his fourth touchdown of the year on Sunday, in addition to four catches for 44 yards. If it ended up working out this way, it would certainly be worth his fantasy owners keeping him in their lineups this week.
