But last week against the New York Giants, Ertz finished the game with eight catches for 97 yards on eight targets. All are easily season highs for the tight end and it seems like he might be an integral part of the team’s offense once again.
Fantasy Impact: This week, the Eagles and their tight end will be facing a less than impressive defense in the Atlanta Falcons (especially when it comes to covering tight ends).
So far in 2016, the Falcons defense is allowing the fifth most fantasy points in the NFL to opposing tight ends. Six players from this position group have finished a game against Atlanta with at least five receptions.
Yahoo! still does not think Ertz will find his way into the end zone this week given that they project him to finish with four catches for 40 yards versus the Falcons. But fantasy owners looking for a tight end with a favorable matchup for Week 10 should at least think about starting the Philadelphia tight end this weekend.
