Despite averaging 294 passing yards and throwing five touchdowns in his last two games, Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles is not having a season to remember in 2016.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 10: Blake Bortles is not an option
The streaky Jaguars quarterback faces a tough Texans defense on Sunday. We explore the fantasy implications.

Not only is he completing less than 60 percent of his passes this year, but he is also on pace to end the year with a total of 20 interceptions. Bortles’ struggles this season are a big reason for why the Jaguars have only won two out of their eight games.
Fantasy Impact: This weekend Jacksonville and its quarterback will be facing the division rival Houston Texans. In two games against the Texans last season, Bortles threw five interceptions and was sacked 11 times.
To make things even harder for the quarterback this weekend, Houston is allowing the second fewest fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks in 2016. No player from the position group has thrown for more than 275 yards during a game and only one quarterback has finished their matchup with the Texans this season with more than one touchdown pass (Sam Bradford).
Yahoo! is projecting Bortles to end Sunday with 234 passing yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. But any fantasy owners even considering starting the Jaguars quarterback this week should at least consider all other options beforehand.
