With the Kansas City Chiefs announcing on Friday that wide receiver Jeremy Maclin will not play on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers due to a groin injury, the Chiefs are going to need a few of their young pass catchers to step up this week.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 10: Tyreek Hill could see more opportunities Sunday
Injuries could lead to Kansas CIty’s rookie receiver getting more passes thrown his way this weekend. We explore the fantasy implications.

One of those young players is rookie wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who is having himself a pretty impressive first season in the NFL this year. Kansas City’s rookie pass catcher has already scored four touchdowns in 2016 and he has yet to start a single game.
Fantasy Impact: With Maclin out out on Sunday, Hill will likely see an increase in his opportunities to make plays when the Chiefs take on the Panthers.
To make Hill’s day a little easier, he will be facing a Carolina defense that is giving up the fifth-most fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers in 2016. The Panthers have allowed the position group to score nine touchdowns in the team’s last five games.
Yahoo! is guessing that Hill will end Sunday with just three catches for 37 yards. But based on his matchup and his ability to find the end zone this year, fantasy owners should at least consider the rookie receiver as a flex option in their lineups this week.
