Unfortunately for Wentz, the next quarter of his season has not followed a similar path. Philadelphia is 1-3 in its last four games, and during this time, its rookie quarterback has thrown four interceptions and just two touchdowns.
Fantasy impact: The Eagles and Wentz have a good chance to get back on track this Sunday when they face the Atlanta Falcons.
The Philadelphia quarterback was probably smiling all week while watching film of the Falcons’ less-than-stellar pass defense. Wentz has an opportunity to put up some impressive numbers against an Atlanta defense that is allowing the most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks in 2016.
Yahoo! projects the Eagles’ rookie signal caller to finish Sunday with 250 passing yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. But his matchup alone should be enough to draw some consideration from fantasy owners in need of some quarterback help this week.
