On Saturday, it was announced that the Pittsburgh Steelers will activate tight end Ladarius Green from the physically unable to play list before the team’s game on Sunday, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. Green has yet to play in the 2016 NFL season because of an ankle injury among other things.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 10: Ladarius Green is back, but not ready just yet
The Steelers’ tight end is expected to play for the first time this season on Sunday. We explore the fantasy implications.

The tight end signed a four-year contract with the Steelers last March. Green was supposed to help the team recover from the loss of veteran tight end Heath Miller to retirement in 2016, but it is hard to make any sort of impact by missing the first eight games of the year.
Fantasy Impact: In his first game this season, not much should be expected from Green when he and Pittsburgh face off against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. The Cowboys have played decent against opposing tight ends in 2016 and have only allowed one touchdown reception to the position group during the team’s last five games.
There is no reason for Green to be manning a starting spot in any fantasy owners’ lineups on Sunday. But due to the offense he plays in, he should at least be worth scooping up on the waiver wire for this week.
