Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 11: Tim Hightower an easy call vs. Panthers
Starting any RB vs. the Panthers is risky. Starting a backup RB is just silly.
The re-emergence of Tim Hightower took a bit of a backseat in Week 10.
With Mark Ingram getting the bulk of the touches, Hightower finished with just 21 yards on eight carries while catching two passes for 34 yards.
Hightower and the New Orleans Saints will now face a stout Carolina Panthers defense on Thursday Night Football. The first time these two faced in Week 6, Hightower did not even touch the ball, but that was before his recent emergence that has him averaging 16.8 touches per game since Week 7.
Still, the Panthers have easily one of the best front sevens in the NFL, so do not expect Hightower to do much against them.
Fantasy Impact: Yahoo! ranks Hightower as the 33rd-best running back in Week 11. He faces a Panthers defense allowing the third-fewest points to running backs this season.
This is an easy call with Carolina being so good against running backs this season. Keep Hightower on the bench.
