Some may wonder why the Dallas Cowboys have not rushed at the opportunity to get quarterback Tony Romo back into the team’s starting lineup now that he is healthy. Well, the play of a 23-year-old rookie signal caller in Dak Prescott has a lot to do with the reason for Romo continuing to stand on the sideline.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 12: Dak Prescott is no average rookie
The Cowboys’ rookie quarterback is playing at a high level as of late. We explore the fantasy implications.

Prescott has helped lead the Cowboys to a 9-1 start to the season and the young quarterback is really starting to catch fire as the year begins to come to a close. In his last three games, Prescott has thrown for eight touchdowns, zero interceptions, and is averaging 289 passing yards per contest.
Fantasy Impact: This week, Dallas and their rookie quarterback will be hosting Washington in a classic Thanksgiving Day matchup. When these two teams played earlier in the season, Prescott was sacked four times and he did not throw a single touchdown pass.
Washington’s defense has been pretty average against opposing quarterbacks in 2016 (16th most fantasy points per game allowed to the position group so far), but they have been a little sloppy in their last two games. After allowing just eight touchdown passes to opposing quarterbacks in the first eight weeks of the year, the position group has accounted for five touchdowns in Washington’s last two games.
Yahoo! projects Prescott to finish with 263 passing yards, two touchdowns, and one interception on Thursday. He seems like a solid option for those fantasy owners in search of some quarterback help this week.
