Unlike last season, when opposing defenses did their best to take Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs out of the game plan, the Vikings actually have another pass catcher to throw to this year. In his third NFL season, Minnesota wide receiver Adam Thielen is having himself a career year in 2016 with 37 catches, 518 receiving yards, and three touchdowns after 10 games.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 12: Adam Thielen looking to extend his touchdown streak
Minnesota’s wide receiver has recently been one of his quarterback’s favorite targets. We explore the fantasy implications.

Thielen worked his tail off before the start of the season and his efforts have definitely paid off. This week against the Detroit Lions, the Vikings receiver will be attempting to extend his streak of consecutive games with a touchdown catch to three.
Fantasy Impact: On Thursday when Minnesota faces the Lions, Thielen will be matching up with a defense that has done decent against his position group this year.
Detroit is allowing the 14th-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers in 2016. That is not super amazing, but the Lions defense has only given up two touchdowns to the position group in their last four games.
In their matchup two weeks ago, Thielen managed to catch four passes for 68 yards against Detroit. There is a possibility that Diggs could sit out the game on Thursday with a knee injury and if he does then Thielen seems like a legitimate starting option for fantasy owners this week.
