When the Miami Dolphins selected quarterback Ryan Tannehill with the eighth overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, they were likely hoping he would lead the team to at least one winning season during his first four years in the league. But that has not been the case as the team has yet to finish over .500 in a season since Tannehill arrived.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 12: Ryan Tannehill has an enticing matchup
The Dolphins’ quarterback has been very efficient recently. We explore the fantasy implications.

After a bit of a slow start during Miami’s first five games this year (six touchdowns, seven interceptions), the quarterback has been much more efficient during the team’s last five matchups (six touchdowns, one interception). Currently sitting at 6-4, will this be the first season where the Dolphins finish with a winning record with Tannehill under center?
Fantasy Impact: With multiple touchdown passes in his last two games, the Miami quarterback has a good chance to accomplish the same feat for the third straight week when he and the Dolphins face the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
In 2016, the 49ers’ defense is giving up the fifth most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. In six of their last seven games, the position group has ended the day with multiple touchdown passes against San Francisco.
For those fantasy owners in search of a quarterback with a favorable matchup this week, Tannehill could be the guy.
