Coming off the first season of over 1,000 rushing yards in his career, the Jacksonville Jaguars were expecting big things from Chris Ivory when they signed the running back as a free-agent last March. But an undisclosed illness prevented him from starting the year until Week 3 and Ivory is just now starting to see an increase in his touches per game.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 12: Chris Ivory picking up steam
Jacksonville’s running back is finally starting to see significant snaps on the field. We explore the fantasy implications.

Last week against the Detroit Lions, the running back gained 114 total yards on 23 touches. With fellow Jaguars running back T.J. Yeldon missing practice all week with an ankle injury, Ivory could be making his first start of the season in the Jacksonville backfield on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: If he does in fact start this weekend, the Jaguars’ running back will be facing a pretty decent defense in the Buffalo Bills.
Except for a minor slip up in Week 7 against the Miami Dolphins, the Bills’ defense has not allowed an opposing running back to finish a game with 100 rushing yards or more in eight of their last nine games. However, Buffalo has also given up four touchdowns to the position group in the team’s last four games.
Yahoo! is only projecting Ivory to end with 55 total yards on 12 touches Sunday. But based on the amount of snaps he should be seeing on the field agains the Bills, the running back could be a good flex option for some fantasy owners this week.
