But Cincinnati may need its pass catcher to step up his level of play after fellow wide receiver A.J. Green suffered a minor tear in his hamstring during the Bengals’ 16-12 loss to the Buffalo Bills last week.
Fantasy Impact: With Green guaranteed to at least miss one game with his injury, LaFell could be Cincinnati’s most targeted receiver on Sunday when the team faces the Baltimore Ravens.
The Ravens are giving up the fourth most fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers in 2016. During eight of its 10 games this year, Baltimore’s defense has allowed the position group to haul in at least one touchdown.
Yahoo! projects LaFell to finish with just four catches for 53 yards on Sunday. With the injury to Green, fantasy owners may want to take advantage of the anticipated increase in targets that are expected for LaFell this week.
