In his first season as a member of the Tennessee Titans, wide receiver Rishard Matthews has quickly established himself as one of the team’s top pass catchers.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 12: Rishard Matthews gets a great matchup on Sunday
The Titans’ wide receiver has been pretty impressive over the last few weeks. We explore the fantasy implications.

After 11 games, Matthews is currently second on the team in catches (45), receiving yards (605), and targets (66). In addition to those statistics, the receiver is also leading the team with six touchdown catches.
Fantasy impact: On Sunday, Matthews will get an opportunity to match up against a Chicago Bears defense that has struggled against his position group this year.
The Bears are giving up the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers in 2016. At least one player from the position group has caught a touchdown against Chicago during the team’s last six games.
Yahoo is projecting Matthews to finish Sunday with five catches for 61 yards and one touchdown. Based on his production this year and his matchup against the Bears, the Titans receiver seems like a good option to start for fantasy owners this week.
