Seattle safety Earl Thomas will miss the first game of his NFL career Sunday thanks to a hamstring injury. It snaps his streak of 118 consecutive games played, which is dang impressive.

After a slow start to the 2016 season, Khalil Mack is looking like the force of nature he was last season. Against the Panthers on Sunday, Mack brought down a Cam Newton screen pass with one paw and ran it all the way to the end zone.
The Panthers’ Sunday has gone from bad to terrible. Newton finished the first half just 3 of 12 passing for 18 yards with one interception. He was also sacked twice. The Panthers have just 89 total yards on the day against an Oakland defense that has not been particularly good this season. The Raiders lead, 24-7, at halftime.

Brady was dealing with swelling and soreness in his knee this week. Gronk has sufficiently recovered from a chest injury which included bleeding and bruising.
The Patriots tight end suffered a chest injury after a hard hit from Seahawks safety Earl Thomas in Week 10. Initial reports had suggested Gronkowski suffered a punctured lung, but the Patriots reportedly regarded the injury as “not overly serious.”
