After going scoreless for his entire rookie season in 2015, San Diego Chargers running back Melvin Gordon has already scored a total of 10 touchdowns in his first eight games this season. Last week against the Denver Broncos was only the second game this season in which Gordon did not find himself in the end zone at least once.

The running back has also scored two or more touchdowns in three games this year.
Fantasy Impact: Despite his impressive numbers in 2016, Gordon will still have his work cut out for him in Week 9 when he faces a tough Tennessee Titans defense.
The Titans are giving up the seventh-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing running backs in 2016. The position group has only scored a total of four touchdowns against Tennessee this season and the Titans have not allowed an opposing running back to rush for 100 yards or more in 17 of their last 18 regular season games.
Yahoo! still thinks Gordon will finish with 104 total yards and one touchdown on 23 touches against Tennessee. But it would not come as a surprise if his final numbers ended up being much lower on Sunday.
