The last time Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy was on the football field he was seen limping off of it after aggravating an injury to his hamstring during a game against the Miami Dolphins in Week 7. Buffalo’s running back was not active last weekend when the team played the New England Patriots.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 9: Keep expectations low for LeSean McCoy
Buffalo’s running back is coming off an injury and has a tough matchup against the Seahawks on Monday. We explore the fantasy implications.

The last time McCoy played a full game was during a Week 6 win over the San Francisco 49ers in which the running back ran for 140 yards and scored three touchdowns. After losing their last two games, the Bills are hoping McCoy will be ready to play this week when they face the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night.
Fantasy Impact: Despite allowing the fourth fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs in 2016, the Seahawks’ run defense has shown signs of vulnerability at times this season.
In four games this year, the position group has not been able to finish with at least 55 rushing yards against the Seattle defense. However, in the last two weeks, two running backs have run for 100 yards or more when facing the Seahawks.
Buffalo is entering Monday’s game with the NFL’s best rushing offense, but the uncertainty about McCoy’s involvement in the team’s game plan is what should keep fantasy owners cautious. Despite his injury and matchup, the running back should at least garner some consideration as a flex option for fantasy owners this week.
