Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 9: Hold off on the excitement of Steve Smith Sr. returning
The Ravens’ wide receiver is expected to play against the Steelers this weekend. We explore the fantasy implications.

But he has been practicing this week and is expected to make his return to the field on Sunday when the Ravens take on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Baltimore can use all the help they can get as they try to snap their four-game losing streak.
Fantasy Impact: Even if Smith is able to play this week, he will likely have a tough time making plays against a tough Pittsburgh pass defense. The Steelers have given up the fourth fewest fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers in 2016.
The Steelers have only given up three touchdowns to the position group this season and only two receivers have gained 100 yards or more (DeSean Jackson and Brandon Marshall) during a game against Pittsburgh this year.
Yahoo! is only projecting Smith to finish with three catches for 39 yards on Sunday. It may be best for fantasy owners to keep the receiver on their bench for at least one more game this week.
