Playoffs are around the corner and locking down a good, or even decent, tight end is proving more difficult each week. With so many highs and lows at the tight end position, finding the right one is no easy task. Still there are a lot of hidden gems to be found. However, not everything that glitters is gold. Here are the tight ends that owners should look to acquire and deal in Week 10.
Fantasy Football trade advice, Week 10: Buy-low, sell-high tight end trade candidates
Which tight ends have the best and worst trade values heading into Week 10 of the 2016 NFL season.

Buy Low
Austin Hooper, Atlanta Falcons
Hooper may be low-key vying for Jacob Tamme’s starting job in Atlanta. In his first career start the 6’ 3” 254-pound tight end caught three passes for 46 yards and a touchdown. That was his second straight week with more than 40 yards receiving.
The Falcons are taking notice of Hooper’s talent, doubling the rookie’s snap count in the pass three weeks. He will continue to see more action with Tamme sidelined indefinitely with a shoulder injury.
Most owners have slept on Hooper, but he is shaping up as a new go-to target for the current passing leader Matt Ryan. Now is a good time to pick Hooper up before more people take notice.

Lance Kendricks, Los Angeles Rams
Kendricks is one of a very few bright spots in an otherwise terrible Rams offense. The six-year veteran caught seven passes for 90 yards in Week 9 against Carolina and he already has more receiving yards this season than he’s had in any of the previous three years. He is one of the top three receivers for the Rams with 32 receptions on 52 targets and 331 yards.
The Rams face a string of weak defenses that Kendricks should be able to exploit in the upcoming weeks. As Los Angeles tries to figure out it’s offense, Kendricks will still be able to flourish as a reliable big target. Good option to snatch up and use while he is hot, if he is able to find the end zone more, Kendricks will be a great sleeper pick.

Sell High
Jason Witten, Dallas Cowboys
Witten put on a clinic Sunday. He caught eight passes for 134 yards and a touchdown. A few things, though. He faced perhaps the worst defense in the league, this was Witten’s first 100-yard receiving game since 2013 and he only has one other touchdown all season.
This is not the fantasy year for Witten. Leverage this monster game and his name value to get a really valuable player in return. The Cowboys are looking at some much tougher defenses in the upcoming weeks so this high point will not last very long.

Jimmy Graham, Seattle Seahawks
Graham has looked really good and really bad this season, much like the Seahawks offense. Week 9 was certainly his best so far. Graham was perfect, catching eight passes for 103 yards and two touchdowns. The only thing more impressive was how he did it making one-handed grabs and hurdling players in the open field.
Here’s the thing, the week prior Graham had three catches for 34 yards and no touchdowns against his former team, New Orleans, a lower-end defense. So while Week 9 dazzled, Week 8 was a dud.
There is no certainty on which Graham will show up each week. Also, the Seahawks are looking at some defenses that shut down tight ends very soon, which does not look good for the Pro Bowl tight end. Shop Graham while he is at his peak.
