He has not been too productive in his first NFL season, but he has stepped up his game recently. In the last three weeks, Mitchell has 17 catches for 222 yards and three touchdowns on 22 targets.
Fantasy Impact: This week, the Patriots and their young wide receiver will be facing off against the conference rival Baltimore Ravens.
So far in 2016, the Ravens’ defense is giving up the 10th most fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers. The position group has caught five touchdowns in Baltimore’s last five games this year.
For this week, Yahoo! is projecting Mitchell to catch four passes for 53 yards and one touchdown. The opportunities to make plays are expected to be there for the receiver, it is just up to him to make the most of those chances.
