The last time running back Shane Vereen was seen on the field in a New York Giants uniform was in the team’s Week 3 loss to Washington.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 14: Keep an eye on Shane Vereen
The Giants running back is returning from a triceps injury this weekend. We explore the fantasy implications.

Vereen has been out of action for the last couple of months with a torn triceps. The remainder of his season was said to be in doubt, but the Giants activated the running back on Saturday from injured reserve, and he is expected to play on Sunday.
Fantasy impact: In his first game back, Vereen will conveniently get to face one of the few opponents he has already seen this season in the Dallas Cowboys.
Against opposing running backs in 2016, the Cowboys are giving up the third-fewest fantasy points per game. No one from the position group has finished with 100 yards or more on the ground this year against Dallas.
The uncertainty surrounding Vereen may make him a tough start for fantasy owners this week. But he is definitely worth picking up and stashing on the bench in case he ends up with a strong finish to the season.
