It is pretty safe to say that San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s game last week against the Chicago Bears was the worst in his six-year NFL career. The quarterback finished by completing just one of his five passes for a measly four yards, while getting sacked five times.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 14: Colin Kaepernick should rebound this week
San Francisco’s quarterback is coming off a historically bad performance last weekend. We explore the fantasy implications.

Perhaps the snow last Sunday played a factor? Whatever it was, the 49ers and Kaepernick are hoping that he can get back to the form that he displayed on the field before last week.
In the four games before last Sunday against the Bears, the quarterback threw for a total of 1,110 yards, eight touchdowns, and just two interceptions. He also ran for another score while averaging about 56 yards per game on the ground during that same time span.
Fantasy impact: This week, Kaepernick will match up with a New York Jets team that has recently been getting torched through the air.
Overall this season, the Jets defense is giving up 17th-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. However, in its last two games, New York has allowed the position group to throw for a total of 564 yards and six touchdowns.
Yahoo has Kaepernick throwing for 207 yards, one touchdown, and one interception while rushing for 44 yards on Sunday. He is still be a risky start for fantasy owners this week, but his upside is definitely much higher than most quarterbacks would have coming off a similar performance as his last Sunday in Chicago.
