After struggling in his last few games, Detroit Lions running back Theo Riddick will be looking to get back on track in Week 13. Luckily for him, Riddick gets the opportunity to face a New Orleans Saints defense that has been less than impressive against the run in 2016.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 13: Theo Riddick hoping to capitalize on a favorable matchup
The Lions’ running back gets to face a weak Saints defense this weekend. We explore the fantasy implications.

Although the Lions are playing well recently (won six of their last seven games), they certainly would not mind Riddick contributing more than he has been lately. In his last three games, the running back has zero touchdowns and is averaging just around 70 total yards.
Fantasy Impact: If there was ever a team for Riddick to have a chance at finding the end zone against, it would be hard to find one better than the Saints.
This season, New Orleans is giving up the fifth most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs. The Saints have allowed the position group to score a total of eight touchdowns in their last eight games.
Yahoo! projects Riddick to finish with just 80 yards on 14 touches this Sunday. But his matchup should at least persuade fantasy owners to have him in their starting lineups this week.
