With three games now under his belt this season, Pittsburgh’s tight end Ladarius Green is being prepared for an increased role in the offense this weekend. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said on Tuesday that he expects Green’s workload to bump up as they head into the final stretch of the regular season.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 13: Be patient with Ladarius Green
The Steelers’ tight end is expected to see more time on the field this weekend. We explore the fantasy implications.

So far this year, Green has a total of five catches for 97 yards and zero trips to the end zone.
Fantasy Impact: When Green takes the field this week, he and the Steelers will be facing a New York Giants defense that has played fairly well against his position group this season.
In 2016, the Giants are only allowing the 16th most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends. They have allowed a total of two touchdowns to the position group all year, and no tight end has finished a game with more than 100 receiving yards in 2016.
Yahoo! is projecting Green to catch just two passes for 30 yards on Sunday. He is not likely a good starting option this week, but fantasy owners should at least pick up the tight end to stash on their bench if he is still available to do so.
