Wide receiver Mohamed Sanu has quietly been a solid addition to the Atlanta Falcons this season. Sanu was brought in this past offseason to take some of the pressure off of the team’s star pass catcher Julio Jones.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 13: Mohamed Sanu is worth a start this weekend
Atlanta’s wide receiver has been one of his quarterback’s favorite targets in recent weeks. We explore the fantasy implications.

Recently, he has seen a lot more passes thrown his way from Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan. In his last four games, Sanu has caught 24 of his 27 targets for 237 yards and one touchdown.
Fantasy Impact: This week, Atlanta and their talented pass catcher will be welcoming the Kansas City Chiefs to town.
The Chiefs are giving up the second most fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers in 2016. Six different players from the position group have been able to finish a game this season with at least 100 receiving yards against Kansas City.
Much of the Chiefs’ focus will likely be on stopping Jones this Sunday, so Sanu should continue to see a good number of balls thrown his way. Starting the Falcons’ receiver seems far from a bad option for fantasy owners this week.
